Liminal Reprints and more news
6 months ago – Sun, Nov 05, 2023 at 06:57:43 AM

Hi everyone,

Progress on art for the next Liminal book, Faerie and Folklore continues. I hope to share something soon.

On another note planning a small print run of the currently out of print Liminal supplements Pax Londinium and the Casebook. If you’d like to preorder something from this run, please be quick - I’m only keeping the preorder open for a couple of weeks.

Alternatively, if you’re at Dragonmeet and would like me to keep a copy of either for you, please let me know.

On yet another note, my friend and long-term Liminal collaborator Neil Gow has a Patreon for one sheet adventures and setting pieces for the Liminal game. I've really enjoyed everything he's written there so far; you can investigate here:

Finally, my friend Newt has launched another game of mine, Beyond Dread Portals, on Kickstarter. It's funded and achieving stretch goals, with just under two weeks left to go.

April update
about 1 year ago – Sun, Apr 02, 2023 at 08:24:22 AM

Okay, it's April and the physical copies of the Case Notes are just around the corner. Since "just around the corner" is still not there for those who pre-ordered I though I'd better update you.

Concretely, I received the physical proof last week and it looks gorgeous.

I'm sorry it's taken so long, but I promise there really isn't much longer to wait.

Another announcement is that I have another game on Kickstarter, published not by me but by my friend Newt Newport at d101 games. If you're interested in my work, please take a look!

Liminal Case Book Update
about 1 year ago – Wed, Mar 15, 2023 at 09:11:19 AM

Just a quick note to say the Liminal Casebook printed book (the collected individual scenarios, with all new art and with 5 brand new scenarios not seen before) is finally with the printer. It should start shipping at the end of this month to those who pre-ordered.

For those who missed the pre-order, I’ll let you know when it’s on general sale (or you can privately ask really nicely 😉 ), but you can buy the PDF here.

Case Note Progress
over 1 year ago – Thu, Jan 05, 2023 at 06:55:26 AM

Hi everyone, and Happy New Year!

Just a quick note on the Liminal Case Notes book. I've just uploaded the final PDF to backerkit. The plan is to send the book to print next month, so not very long to wait now!

I will be closing pre-orders on Backerkit next week, but there's still a little time: https://liminal-rpg.backerkit.com/hosted_preorders

Then another book...Faerie and Folklore.

The next book
over 1 year ago – Sun, Oct 09, 2022 at 03:30:18 AM

Well, now that Werewolves of Britain (ah-woo!!) is out there, it's time for the next book. And this book is Case Notes, a collection of 14 scenarios, with a new layout, and all new art by Jason Behnke and Paul Tomes. Some of the individual scenarios have already been released, but four are completely new to the book.

The best news is that it's already as good as done - it just needs some minor editing. If you're reading this you may already have received the PDF, but if not, or if you would like the book in print, you can pre-order here:

PDFs should go out as soon as payment is processed. I aim to see print books sent out by the end of the year.

Authors: Paul Baldowski, Neil Gow, Guy Milner, Paul Mitchener, and Sue Savage
